(AP:BOGOTA) Colombia’s energy minister says drought has forced his country to reduce exports of electricity to neighboring Venezuela and Ecuador. Minister Hernan Martinez tells Radio Caracol that Venezuela had been getting 70 to 80 megawatts a day while Ecuador was getting up to 250 megawatts.
