Filip Holosko scored in injury time to give Slovakia a 1-0 win over Macedonia in their opening 2012 European Championship qualifying game on Friday. Holosko beat Macedonia goalkeeper Edin Nuredinovski one minute into added time to secure three points for the host. It was the Besiktas winger’s sixth international goal in 42 appearances for Slovakia.

Albania holds Romania to 1-1 draw in qualifier
Albania midfielder Gjerji Muzaka scored a late equalizer Friday in a 1-1 draw at Romania in qualifying for the 2012 European Championship. Muzaka headed the ball past two defenders and goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont from a free kick in the 88th minute. Bogdan Stancu had given Romania the lead 10 minutes earlier, turning the ball into goal from Gabriel Muresan’s header following a corner.
